I've played classical, pop, and soundtrack music: Bach and Beyonce, Chopin and Christina Perri, Elgar and Elvis. I have experience performing music for solo cello, with piano accompaniment, and in trios and quartets. No matter what music you want at your event, there's always room for cello.
